The number of European players who have won the US Open in the past five years: Graeme McDowell (2010), Rory McIlroy (2011), Justin Rose (2013) and Martin Kaymer (2014). Prior to McDowell’s victory at Pebble Beach, the last European to win the championship was Tony Jacklin in 1970.

The number of players in history to have won the US Open, the PGA Championship and The Players Championship: Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino Raymond Floyd, Tiger Woods and now Kaymer. The German has earned a combined total of US$4,770,000 from these three wins alone.
