Pushup

PURPOSE: Strengthen upper body musculature whilst retaining anti-extension and anterior trunk strengthening stimulus.

HOW: Controlled movement from the top position to the bottom position and then return, retaining neutral spine. Start with 3 sets of 8 repetitions, increase both for progress!

PRESCRIPTION: 3 sets of 8-10 repetitions. Progress by adding more repetitions each set.
