Donald tops, 3rd ranked Stricker top American, Woods, falls to 35th

LONDON, August 22, 2011 (AFP) - Tiger Woods has fallen further in the latest golf world rankings and is now down in 35th place.

Woods ended three months of inactivity due to injury earlier this month but he failed to make the cut at the year's final major, the USPGA Championship, and has also failed to qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs.

England's Luke Donald continues to lead the way ahead of compatriot Lee Westwood with Steve Stricker of the United States in third place.
