Make Your Practice Swing Count
One of the best things you can do to help give you a better chance of hitting a good golf shot is to make a purposeful practice swing. A lot of times amateur golfers don't take a practice swing, or when they do it's used more as a way of just loosening up. But they're not really thinking about what they want to achieve from the shot, and often they're not even facing in the direction they're going to hit. It pays to watch the pros. Professional golfers make practice swings with a purpose. While their swings may be different the approach is most often the same. They'll line up in the direction they want to play and they'll take a full swing at slow speed to capture a feel of the type of shot they want to hit. If your practice swing has a purpose you'll reap the rewards.
