HONG KONG, 26 Sept 2016, (HK Golfer News Wire) - With only four shots separating the top eight players, the 16-year-old won by a single stroke and earns a professional start in the 2017 Hong Kong Ladies Open at Fanling.

Joint leader going into the third and final round, Tseng carded a four-over 75 in windy conditions to finish on 224, one ahead of compatriot Chen Hsuan and Bernice Olivarez-Ilas of The Philippines who fired the tournament-low round of 71 on day two. The Hong Kong duo of Hu Jing and Queenie Lai Ying-Tung were the leading locals, finishing only four shots back on 228 in a tie for seventh.

In the Mid-Amateur Championship for players aged over 25, Alice Karr and Haj Wilcox, both from Hong Kong, took the Division 1 and Division 2 titles respectively.
