The Callaway Junior World Golf Championships was held between July 12th and July 15th. Held in California, the Callaway Junior World is one of the premier junior golf events in the world. This year, golfers from 54 countries and 42 states participated, included in that field were some of Hong Kong’s finest young golfers.
Tiffany Chan competed in the Girls 15-17 age division, which was held on the North Course at Torrey Pines. The course was played at 6,298 yards, over a total par of 74. The girls 15-17 age division was made up of 156 of the world’s best junior golfers.
Chan fired rounds of 75, 71, 70, 76 to finish at a four round total of four under par, and in a tie for fifth place. This is an incredible result for both Tiffany, and the HKGA Junior Squad, congratulations to both, and to all HKGA competitors.
