HONG KONG, 9 May 2016, (HK Golfer News Wire) - Michelle Cheung had a great season with the women’s golf team at The University of Wisconsin-Madison. The team had its best Big Ten Conference finish since 2011.

Cheung enjoys competing and feels grateful to head coach Todd Oehrlein. “Todd always emphasizes staying in the moment and giving ourselves a chance,” Cheung said, “He reminds us that we aren't just competing for ourselves but the team as well.”

Cheung hopes to make use of the home court advantage in the second edition of The Hong Kong Ladies Open, due to take place from 10th to 12th of June over the Old Course at Hong Kong Golf Club. She shot 74-74-77, a total of 9-over in the tournament last year, tied for 19th alongside her national squad mate Kitty Tam.
