Virginie Ding secured a play-off victory in the girls' 11-12 age division with a three-round score of 217 (one-over-par) for the standout performance of the week, with Chloe Chan finishing four shots behind in third spot.
In the boys’ 15-20 age category, in-form Leon D’Souza narrowly missed out on victory after finishing just one shot behind Myanmar’s Hlaing Min Htet on 11-over. D’Souza, who would go on to claim the Hong Kong Junior Close Championship the following week, got off to a sluggish start with rounds of 78 and 76. A brilliant 68 in the third round lifted him up the leaderboard but his 75 on the last day wasn’t quite enough to overhaul Hlaing.
