The Australian had earlier tied with James Stewart through 36 holes of regulation play over the Old Course at The Hong Kong Golf Club on three-under-par, after the pair had fired matching rounds of 70 and 69 for a 139 total.

Dominique Boulet, Mickey Chan and Wong Woon-man finished in a tie for third, four strokes back.

The victory, which was worth HK$8,000, lifted Goulding, a Louisiana State University graduate, into fourth place in the HKPGA Order of Merit standings, which is headed by Stewart with two events remaining.

In the women’s division, Wong Lai’s 147 total was good enough for a one-stroke victory over amateur Kitty Tam in second place. Another amateur, Michelle Cheung, claimed third spot on 152.
