In the MercedesTrophy, a worldwide premium tournament series for amateurs, over 60,000 players from over 60 countries compete against one another every year. The series follows a three-stage format. It begins with invitational tournaments at the local level, in which players can qualify for the subsequent national finals (such as in Germany) or regional finals (such as in Latin America). The third and final stage of the tournament is the MercedesTrophy World Final, when the best team and the best player are honoured in Stuttgart, as well as being offered an exclusive peek into the world of Mercedes-Benz.
