What’s been your best ever round?

It’s not often that I manage to put a good round together but my best was probably the 69 I had on the North Course at Kau Sai Chau about 10 years ago. I went bogey-free, which is about as good as it gets for me. I also had a 70 on the Old Course at St Andrews. That was a brief moment of glory and it was a long time ago.

Who would be in your dream fourball?

Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player and Tom Watson - I wouldn’t play but I’d love watching them go round the Old Course at St Andrews together. If I had to play it would be me, my Dad and my children.

What has been your most memorable moment on a golf course?

I was dreading this question but I should to be honest. It would have to have been the 13 I had on the par-3 17th hole of the Eden Course at the Hong Kong Golf Club during the qualifying round for the Club Championship a few years ago. It’s all a bit of a haze now but there were multiple balls in the lake. It’s amazing how difficult it is to count when you go that high! Anyway, I then made a double bogey on the last and ended up missing qualification on count back.
